(NBC News) The suspect in last week’s brutal slaying of three members of a northwest Washington, D.C., family and their housekeeper is in custody in northeast D.C., two law enforcement sources confirmed to News4.
Police followed a white Chevy Cruze from Prince George’s County into D.C. and took 34-year-old Daron Dylon Wint into custody on Rhode Island Avenue NE between between 11th and 12th streets, sources said.
The Metropolitan Police Department has not confirmed the reports.
Wint, 34, is charged in a warrant with first-degree murder while armed.
